Enrichment is a key component for maintaining a healthy and happy captive animal; especially ones destined for an endangered breeding program like at Cheetah Experience. Enjoy the following video of a couple of endangered Africa Black and Spotted Leopards (Nova and Aurora) as they cool off in a child’s swimming pool on a hot summers day which can reach temperatures over 100F or 40C.

Why are they being held captive?
I don’t know their history. I am just an occasional volunteer about 6 weeks in a year. I spend all of my vacation time doing this. This is a registered cheetah breeding project and focuses on that, but there are other animals there and serves like a zoo where tourists are educated about the animals they share the country with.
It’s great to see people working with these magnificent cats.
It is cute!!
Arw they in a sanctuary?
A cheetah breeding center.
